Our kids hurt. So often we think being a kid is all about having fun, watching TV, playing with friends etc. But what we seem to forget is that our kids have questions. Our kids hurt just like us. Our kids wonder why things happen, who God is, what love is and where they fit in the equation. Granger Community Church just posted a video they made of prayers that their kids were asking. These prayers are from kids 4 years old to High School. This video will make you think and break your heart. I know for me it makes me evaluate how we minister to kids. Are we just being shallow with them or are we working to help teach them how God moves and works through all the good and bad in life? Are they only learning new hip songs every week or are they being shown the Gospel so that they will trust in Christ and know that yes God loves them and will help amidst all of life’s difficulties.
