For 9 weeks we have been carefully walking through the book of Philippians. It has been a great study that has taught me a lot even though I am the guy teaching it to you. I hope God has really spoken to you through this series. This Sunday we are wrapping it up with part 10 called The Secret To Joy. We are studying the final verses of Philippians 4. In a way it’s pretty sad the series is ending but all good things must come to an end. I hope you will make plans to not miss the final message of what has probably been my favorite series of all the series I have preached.

I also want to thank everyone for your words of encouragement and prayers while Taylor and I have been praying and looking for our next church to call home. We have interviewed with a church and have really enjoyed our time with them. Their state is absolutely beautiful. I had never been there and was really blown away. We have been invited to officially candidate at their church in two weeks which means we will go back up there, meet lots of people, preach, and let God speak to the people through a vote to possibly call me to be their next pastor. We know God is in complete control. We have loved visiting with them. If anything I love meeting new people and there are some really great people all over this country who have a heart and passion to lead people to Christ and it excites me to go to places I have never visited to see first hand that same passion I have in spreading the Gospel.

Only God could bring so many people with vastly different backgrounds together and make it possible for us to be one in mission. Only the Gospel of Jesus can do that. Please continue to pray for me and my family. We are definitely nervous and excited about where God is going to lead us next. Please also continue to pray for Warrenton Wesleyan and that God would help the leadership make the right recommendation to the church for their next lead pastor. Finally, please also pray that God does a miracle and sells our house quickly. God bless!
